Spring tends to sneak up on you in Arizona. One minute you’re layering, the next you’re suddenly rearranging your routine, opening the windows, and realizing citrus is everywhere again.

At the stoooood, that seasonal shift usually shows up in small ways first. Maybe it's a new mug on someone’s desk, a tote full of farmers market finds, someone testing a new recipe, or a beauty product being passed around.

So we figured we’d share a peek at what’s currently making the ENC ladies smile this season.

Lanya: Farmers Markets & Hosting Season

Lanya has officially entered her Saturday morning farmers market era again. The weekly veggie haul is back in full swing, and naturally, she’s carrying everything home in her trusty basket tote, somehow fits more than it looks like it should.

Arizona doesn’t exactly give us scarf weather, but there’s a tiny window where you can get away with it, and she’s currently eyeing the one scarf that works for this time of year.

At home, she’s stepping back into her hosting era now that her space (and life) are feeling settled again. She’s already picturing a bright citrus salad served on a gorgeous platter that feels made for spring dinners with friends.

And because spritz season has officially arrived, she’s loving a set of chunky cocktail glasses that feel perfect for slow afternoons that turn into evenings on the patio.

Jessica: Sunscreen, Creativity & Grapefruit Everything

Jessica is, and always will be, a forever sunscreen lady, so the Ciele Prime & Protect has quickly become a new favorite in her daily routine.

Creatively, she’s been loving the prompts and inspiration coming from Tabby Booth’s Substack, whose prints and collaborations have been sparking all kinds of new ideas.

She’s also fully leaning into her accessory era, currently obsessed with her puffy heart necklace and another perfectly chonky piece that’s been getting a lot of airtime lately.

And of course, it wouldn’t be spring without citrus. Thanks to some very generous neighbors, she’s swimming in fresh grapefruits, which means the kitchen has been busy with grapefruit soda, syrups, and the return of the legendary grapefruit bundt cake. More grapefruit experiments to come.

Marly: Beach Plans & Elevated Iced Coffee

Marly has her eye on a few things that feel very spring heading into summer.

She loves a good lip product, especially anything from Laneige, so she’s excited to try their new lip stain.

Travel is on the horizon too, which means she’s currently eyeing a knit set that feels perfect for beach trips and warm summer days.

For her farm visits, the Abercrombie dad shorts have become a go-to staple, and she’s planning to grab them in a few more washes.

And because it’s always iced coffee season in Marly’s world, she’s convinced that elevated ice cube trays might be the next small upgrade that makes her daily coffee ritual even better.

Ellyse: Creative Experiments & Kitchen Tests

Ellyse has officially declared that we’re in our painting era, and watercolors seem to be the medium of choice around here lately.

She’s also been experimenting with film photography, leaning into the slower, more tactile creative process that comes with it.

Style-wise, she’s been loving boho bags that feel easy, relaxed, and a little bit wanderer.

For skincare, she’s been reaching for juniper hydrosol to refresh her very Arizona-parched face.

And in the kitchen, she’s been deep in recipe testing mode currently working on frozen lime tarts that may or may not become the next ENC studio obsession.

Elizabeth: Citrus, Hydration & Everyday Staples

Elizabeth has been loving Margin deodorant from Melt by Melissa, which has quickly become a daily staple. She’s also eyeing their face wash as she gets dangerously close to the last drops of her current cleanser.

Recently, she received the coolest mugs from her coworkers, and they’ve become part of her daily rhythm. Pro tip: coffee in the morning, tea at night.

She’s also refreshed her water bottle situation, which is essential as the Phoenix temperatures start climbing again.

And like many of us right now, she’s deep in citrus season, rotating through tangelos, grapefruits, and sumos like it’s her personal vitamin C mission.

Channing: Spring Accessories & Food Daydreams

Channing has her eye on the cutest little beaded bucket bag. This is the kind of spring accessory that instantly elevates an outfit.

She’s also been using her neighbor’s grapefruits to make a refreshing citrus spritz that feels like the perfect patio drink.

On the food front, she’s counting down the days until Din Tai Fung opens this spring, and specifically thinking about their chocolate xiao long bao more often than she’d like to admit.

And with a wedding coming up this season, she’s been eyeing Mary Phillips’ underpainting palette, because everything Mary Phillips touches tends to be makeup magic.
